58 Best Prime Day Deals Under $100 (2023): Routers, Blenders, and Headphones

A hundred bucks doesn’t go as far as it used to, but for the two days of Amazon’s major Prime Day shopping event, it will at least go much farther. For two days—July 11 and 12—Amazon extends thousands of discounts to Prime subscribers only. (Try a free 30-day trial, and remember to cancel before it automatically renews.) Other major retailers offer their own competing discounts to join in the fun. 

Whether it’s a wireless charging stand, a portable SSD, or that video game you’ve been dying to try, this is a good time to pick up gear that will change your life but which seems absolutely frivolous at a higher price. We’ll keep our list of the best Prime Day deals under $100 updated throughout the event.

Amazon’s Fire tablets are so cheap that the price often seems like it must be a joke. Never more so than during Prime Day. Nevertheless, they are fine and capable tablets, as long as you don’t need to use Google apps. The Fire HD 10 Plus is the largest and speediest model and perfect if you just want a convenient tablet to watch Prime Video content and complete minor work tasks. 

If you like to read, you probably need a Kindle. This light, portable, electronic device lets you access thousands of books on Kindle Unlimited, Amazon First Reads, or for free from your local library. This is currently the smallest and least expensive Kindle available, but it still has USB-C charging and 16 GB of storage. 

This is our favorite Kindle! It’s still under $100, but it’s waterproof, has auto-adjustable warm lighting, and a bigger, 6.8-inch screen with smaller bezels.  

WIRED editor Julian Chokkattu loves this little power bank, which we judged as the best for tablets in our Best Portable Power Banks guide. It fits in the padded sleeve of most backpacks and can recharge an 11-inch tablet twice. It even has a lovely fabric cover so that it doesn’t look out of place sitting on your table at the coffee shop. 

Anker’s cute little desktop ball is one of Julian Chokkattu’s favorite wireless chargers for MagSafe iPhones. There are also a ton of ports in the back for charging other devices while reducing desktop clutter.

The Apple Pencil is one of the most useful tools you can add to the iPad. The second-gen pencil works with nearly every iPad in Apple’s current lineup  (except for the 9th- and 10th-gen iPad; if you have one, the first-gen Pencil is also on sale). It’s excellent for drawing, with an imperceptible delay as the Pencil moves across the glass display. Like a normal pencil, your lines get thicker as you press down harder. The Pencil is also great for navigating iPadOS, which has handwriting support in various search fields so you don’t need to switch to the keyboard to type. It pairs and charges automatically when you stick it to the edge of the slate.

This is the latest Echo Show 5, which has an upgraded speaker system. It’s a bit small for the kitchen or living room but works well on a desk or bedside table. Check out our Best Smart Displays guide for more. If you’d like a larger display, the Echo Show 8 is also on sale.

This is our top pick for an Echo device to put in your bedroom. Like most Echo smart speakers, it supports the full range of Alexa voice commands, but this one comes with an added LED display that can show the time, making it a handy bedside companion.

Moft’s origami-inspired desktop and phone accessories pack down small and are durable and versatile. This laptop stand earned a place on our Best Laptop Stands list for folding down to a mere half-inch thick, so you can take it almost anywhere. 

If you’re traveling and working off your MacBook Air, it’s really annoying to pack and carry multiple adapters for multiple devices. This dual power adapter is included in our Best MacBook Accessories guide, and it’s life-changing, although we should also warn you that the cable is sold separately. 

This is the lowest price we’ve seen on one our favorite SSDs. You can use this to easily upgrade the storage on your PC, laptop, or even a PS5. The 2-terabyte version is also on sale for $100, which gives twice as much storage for an extra $30.

Satechi’s 108-watt charger is plenty powerful enough to recharge your MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max at the same time with its three USB-C ports. It’s relatively compact and has a plug that folds up.

Satechi’s four-port hub is on the large side, but you do get a slot for an M.2 SATA solid-state storage drive slot. That means access to fit an external SSD (not included), along with two USB-A jacks, one 100-watt USB-C pass-through charging port, and a 4K HDMI at the same time.

This wireless charging stand from Satechi is runner-up in our buying guide of Best Apple 3-in-1 Wireless Chargers. It doesn’t offer the fastest charging speeds, but it’s perfect for juicing up your devices overnight. With an attractive aluminum design, it also makes a great addition to your nightstand. You’ll have to use your own 20-watt power adapter though.

In our Best Travel Adapters guide, this is the best-looking option. It has sliding toggles to switch between US, European, and British plugs and an auto-resetting fuse to protect your gadgets from power surges. The latest version sports a funky, translucent design with a metallic finish (purple is best). 

There are so many good portable chargers out there, but this small and chunky one has a huge capacity and supports a wide variety of fast-charging standards. It earned itself a spot on the honorable mentions list of our Best Portable Chargers guide.

This is our favorite laptop stand. It’s sturdy, light, and sleek (as far as office supplies go). We love that it can be raised to various heights and positions, so it should work for most people’s home or work setups. You can easily go from sitting to standing, no standing desk needed (unless you are particularly tall), though it does take some muscle power to change the height and angle.

Looking lackluster on Zoom? Laptop webcams work best when combined with bright light, which is why you need a lamp like this one, which clamps to your desk frame. There are several brightness levels and color temperature controls, plus you can adjust the actual angle of the light so it doesn’t cast shadows down your face.

This is our top smart plug choice for Alexa-based households. While we generally prefer Google Assistant, you might have already invested in Echo devices. You can use Alexa to set these plugs up, so you don’t need to install a separate app, which is nice.

The Fitbit Charge 5 (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is our favorite overall Fitbit. It’s attractive and comes packed with sensors, and supports GPS. It gets up to seven days of battery life, helped along by the vibrant AMOLED display which only lights up the pixels that you absolutely need. Many other buds have come and gone, but Google’s Pixel Buds (8/10, WIRED Recommends) have managed to keep the top spot in our Best Wireless Earbuds guide. They look great, the fit is comfortable, the audio quality is a tier above Apple’s beginner buds, and they’re insanely affordable—even more so with this discount. What’s not to like?

We’ve recommended Amazon’s update to the Echo Buds in several of our roundups, including the Best Wireless Earbuds and the Best Amazon Echo and Alexa Speakers. As associate editor Parker Hall notes, they have all the bells and whistles of a premium pair of buds with excellent Alexa integration, which means you can quickly add items to your grocery list while listening to tunes.

Want to kit out your work-from-home setup? Conserve space and use a headphone stand that can also wirelessly charge your phone. Oakywood’s 2-in-1 has a base made from your choice of solid walnut or oak, and it looks gorgeous. 

This is the best Alexa-enabled speaker you can get for under $100. It’s compact, sounds decent, and works well in every room of your house. 

Amazon just released its latest, cutest, and most affordable smart speaker (7/10, WIRED Review) just a few months ago, which makes this even lower price extra astonishing. Notably, it doesn’t sound as good as the Echo, but it comes in fun colors and faces forward, so it works on desks and against walls. 

The iconic Logitech Blue Yeti USB microphone is well-known for a reason. It’s one of the simplest ways to upgrade the audio from your desktop or phone without spending a fortune on professional audio gear. The smaller Nano version is also on sale for $75if you want to save a little extra money (plus some space on your desk).

Your vinyl collection might not seem like the kind of thing you take on the go, but the Victrola Re-Spin makes it possible. It’s a portable 3-speed record player that’s ultra-affordable. It comes with its own built-in speaker, so you can take the party with you and put on your albums in the hotel room or at a friend’s house, no cables required.

Basic soundbar systems like this one from Vizio are an excellent way to upgrade your sound from the typically-tinny TV speakers. This one comes with a wireless subwoofer, which makes it easy to place anywhere in your space.

If all you want to do is firehose Amazon Prime content (and why wouldn’t you, with season 2 of The Summer I Turned Pretty coming?), then the Fire TV Stick is your best option. In our Best 4K Streaming Devices guide, we note that this Fire Stick has some upgrades from the previous version, including picture-in-picture for looking at your security cameras and support for Wi-Fi 6. 

A lot of Amazon-offered streaming services are discounted during Prime Day, but my personal pick is Britbox. Truly, no one makes a cozy, slow-paced mystery series better than the people in the United Kingdom. For more picks, check out our Best Streaming Services guide.

If you travel a lot, the Chromecast (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is incredibly convenient. It’s a small puck that lets you cast directly to any TV anywhere, so you can just plug it into a hotel TV. It comes with a remote, and you can actually scroll through the interface and choose what you want to watch, but you can still cast if that’s what you prefer. Even if you’re not a die-hard Zelda fan, Tears of the Kingdom is definitely in the running for one of the best games of the year. This is a price well worth paying for hours of crafting and horse-collecting entertainment—although let’s be honest, it would be worth it even if it only took you 50 minutes to complete it.

My 6- and 8-year-old enjoyed these fun, simple recipes that were also delicious, unlike some other recipe boxes that mainly showcased food for novelty or entertainment potential. We still also use the tiny included utensils daily. 

Lovevery’s beautiful play sets have a spot on our Best Gift Subscriptions Boxes for Kids list. The company’s sturdy, Montessori-inspired wooden toys are some of the most beautiful that my children and I checked out, and some have even lasted for several years’ worth of playing. If you’re looking for a baby shower present that’s beautiful enough to hand down to the next kid, this is a good pick. 

In our Best Weighted Blankets guide, Luna offers by far the most weight and size options, in a comfortable crisp cotton. They even offer kid-sized blankets and duvets, so you can extend the time between washes. 

Sometimes you don’t want an entire blanket, but you still crave that weight. I’ve tried and recommend NodPod’s Body ($88) for those moments. They remind me of the lead aprons that dentists put on you while they x-ray your teeth in the best way. Nodpod’s Body weighs 6.5 pounds and has one super soft microfleece side and one side a cool cotton.

This is a compact, cheap, and versatile camera that is one of our picks in our Best Indoor Security Cameras guide. While Blink is owned by Amazon, at least it’s not Ring!  

Our pick for the best budget outdoor security camera, the Wyze Cam Outdoor v2 records in full HD and comes with a base station for local video recording, which means there’s no need for a cloud subscription. The Wyze app is quick to load and offers scheduling for recordings, a customizable detection zone, and two-way audio. The downsides include low frame rate and lack of HDR.

Listed as our favorite panning camera in our Best Indoor Security Cameras guide, the Wyze Cam Pan v3 features a smart design that can spin 360 degrees and tilt through 180 degrees. You can set waypoints for it to cycle through, it can track subjects, and there’s a privacy mode where the lens faces down. Video quality is decent at 1080p and 20 frames per second, but sound quality is poor, and you need a microSD card for local recording unless you want to subscribe to Cam Plus for $2 a month.

This is currently the top pick in our Best Video Doorbells guide. It offers an expansive 180-degree view of your front porch, delivers swift notifications, and records detailed video day or night.

This is WIRED reviewer Medea Giordano’s favorite flat iron; we recommend the slimmer version in our guide, but we like this one as well. We’ve found that it works on several different hair textures and curl patterns. It can also be used to create a natural-looking curl. We have never seen the price drop this low. 

This is the best sale price we’ve seen this year, and it’s cheaper than Tushy’s on-site sales. This is our pick for the best budget bidet. 

As the best budget router you can buy right now, TP-Link’s Archer AX21 delivers reliable Wi-Fi 6 performance. It’s not the fastest, and the range is limited, but for modest homes with a limited number of devices, there’s no need to spend more than this. The Tether app is straightforward and packed with all the basic options you need, including traffic prioritization, parental controls, and a guest network.

This is our pick for the best router for most folks. It is a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 router that delivers stable, speedy Wi-Fi coverage for the average home. It has four gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, a single gigabit WAN port, and a USB 3.0 port on the back. TP-Link’s Tether app has all the options you are likely to need, including guest network, traffic stats, and band splitting.

This hub works with iPads and other tablets. You can either plug it in and keep it flush with the edge of your device or use the included cord to keep it extended. You get a USB-C port you can use for pass-through charging, a USB-A, an HDMI, and a headphone jack.

We’re not superfans of Keurig, but the company’s wares have landed a spot on our Best Automated Espresso, Latte, and Cappuccino Makers list. This model goes on sale pretty regularly, but if you’ve been on the fence, now is a good time to pick up a small, convenient coffee maker. 

This is the lowest price we’ve seen on the Nutribullet for several months. We included this in our Best Blenders guide for its simple touchscreen controls. 

We recommend Stasher bags a lot, but that’s because we love them. They come in a wide variety of colors and sizes for every use and are made from a thick silicone, with closures that never wear out. Once you own some, you never need to buy plastic bags ever again. We’ve written about them in our guide to the Best Reusable Products. 

There’s a reason we recommend so many of Yeti’s overpriced, over-engineered products: They’re great. The Rambler rarely goes on sale and is very similar to many of the mugs that we recommend in our Best Travel Mugs guide, in that it’s made from double-walled stainless steel to keep your hands dry and beverages cool. The discount applies to the colors Alpine Yellow, Nordic Blue, and Nordic Purple. 

This is Brooklinen’s classic super-plush robe, which comes in several colors and is a perfect starter robe if you’re just setting out on your journey to dressing like Tony Soprano. It has thick material and deep pockets to make your work-from-home experience feel a little more luxurious and also feels great while lounging on the couch at night with a glass of wine.

Basepaws is thorough. After swabbing our cats’ cheeks and sending the samples back in the included envelope, we received PDFs of nearly 70 pages detailing their breed percentages—as well as several pages about all the cat breeds, and how our fur babies stacked up against around 115 feline health markers.

The Colgate Hum smart electric toothbrush (9/10, WIRED Recommends) earned top marks from us for being reasonably priced, its built-in tongue brush, and earning rewards for brush heads via its app.

This is a good deal on Gravity Move’s small, but powerful Mini Massager (8/10, WIRED Recommends). The heated attachment head eases sore spots, and it comes with three other attachments for different needs. The only downside is that the travel case doesn’t hold all the attachments.

This smart lamp from Govee is a modern take on smart RGB lighting. It can sync to music, either with the mic on your phone or the lamp itself, and can bounce a psychedelic rainbow of colors on your wall. It’s more natural-looking than LED strips, and the lamp itself looks great even when turned off.

We like a lot of bags, but this one from Moment is our favorite traditional style tote. It distributes weight so evenly it feels like magic. It has copious pockets that can fit tablets, laptops, and even multiple water bottles at once without straining your shoulder.

With thermal labels there’s no fussing with ink—the printer uses heat to print. They’re perfect for shipping labels. Make sure to grab the right driver from iDPRT’s website. This one isn’t wireless, so you’ll have to connect it to your PC. 

Amazon has a variety of gift cards on sale right now, some up to 20 percent off. There are a ton of options including Grubhub and Doordash, Fandango, Panera Bread, and tons more. If you’re planning to spend money on these services anyway, you may as well take the deal and save some cash. The only limit is one brand of gift card per customer.
